THE DESIGNER

In 2017, Chidozie Omile left his hometown of Woodbridge, Virginia, to join the U.S. Air Force. Stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, he embarked on a journey that led him through the vibrant streets of Paris, the eclectic markets of London, and the timeless beauty of Venice. Surrounded by Europe's rich cultures and thriving fashion scenes, he immersed himself in the world of art and craftsmanship, refining his eye for detail. With each experience, he carried the dreams of a young boy from Woodbridge, whose passion for design burned within him.

In 2020 Chidozie took leave from military duty to study Footwear Design at the prestigious London College of Fashion, under the guidance of specialists Nafi Mustafa and Havva Mustafa. He quickly realized that designing shoes was the perfect expression of his creative vision, and soon after created the first prototypes for his OG CC Boot. The unconventional boots sparked interest among fashion icons and risk-takers including Deto Black, Andrea Valle, Sita Bellan, and Rico Nasty, all of whom were early supporters of the gifted designer.

In September 2021, Chidozie embarked on a dual journey, separating from military service to pursue a career in design while also enrolling in filmmaking studies at the renowned New York Film Academy. During this transitional period, he offered women's clothing as a testing ground for brand development, all the while maintaining his focus on returning to his true passion: footwear design. Over the next two years, he not only honed his skills in visual storytelling but also crafted pieces that were worn by some of today’s biggest artists, including Ice Spice, Coi Leray, Chloe Bailey, Justine Skye, Summer Walker, Rubi Rose, Kaliii, and many others.

In 2024 Chidozie returns home to Virginia, as a seasoned designer with a singular mission: to redefine the landscape of footwear design.
